H&M ha utilizzato dei tessuti più economici e ha creato una collezione in cui il cachemire e la pelle sono i protagonisti, rifacendosi in tutti ai capi originali. L'idea di usare i materiali uguali a quelli originali, nonostante la qualità inferiore, fa sì che la collezione rappresenti una vera e propria riproduzione degli originali, ma accessibili al grande pubblico.

Lo stile degli abiti riprende le linee minimal che caratterizzano la maison Martin Margiela. Accanto a queste linee si trovano giochi di volumi e sovrapposzioni di tonalità cromatica come il nero, il grigio, il blu marino, il rosso e il bianco.

Naturalmente non mancheranno i capi oversize come cappotti, pantaloni e giacche, che sono uno dei caratteri tipici della maison.
